LEGO has collaborated with Moleskine to create a set of limited edition LEGO Moleskine pocket-sized notebooks which are available now for pre-order. They each have an attached cover brick and are available in four colors: black, yellow, red and green. Mini figs are not included.

It’s a union where two platforms for free expression unite, where the legend of Lego meets the legendary notebook. A cult limited edition, with a real Lego plate set in the iconic Moleskine cover. The inside has 192 plain pages, a coloured bookmark ribbon, themed flyleaf and an inner pocket in coloured fabric. The 2012 Spring Ready-to-wear collection from fashionista Miuccia Prada includes a series of women’s patent leather pumps that are styled like classic fifties cars. The entire line has designs with tiny taillights, hot rod flames and bright colors.

This highly detailed Steve Jobs action figure is by toy company in icons. It features interchangeable hands so that Steve can hold a 1/6th scale iPhone (not included) or clasp his chin thoughtfully. The action figure is not authorized by the Jobs camp so it is unlikely to survive the imminent legal barrage (and the site is currently down due, presumably, to overwhelming traffic). The figure is scheduled for release in February.

The 2012 Bubble Calendar is a fabulous 4-foot tall poster-sized bubble wrap calendar that you pop as the days go by. First designed in 2008 by Brooklyn-based experience designer Stephen Turbek, the 2012 version of the calendar comes in several languages and major holidays and weekends are bolded for “easier reference”.

“Everyone is looking for an excuse to pop more bubbles. This calendar gives it a useful purpose: marking time in style. ” says Stephen Turbek, designer of the Bubble Calendar, explaining the inspiration behind the design. “Kids love learning about the calendar while popping the bubbles.”

Foster the People’s “Torches”

I looked at my stats from Rdio for the most listen to album last year and I must officially declare that Foster the People’s “Torches” is at the top as most listen to in 2011.

Frankly I like pretty much every single song on it. Foster the People have created an album that could be played on pretty much any radio stations and people would still like it. Plus almost very song on the record could easily have a “dance remix” that would set many dance floor ablaze in most clubs. Considering that this is debut album, I cannot wait for more music coming from this group.

They seem like the real deal, a bunch cool kids who know what they are doing. Hope to hear more from you… and soon!

Fight Club Soap is a real bar of soap that was created using the original props and artwork from 1999 cult classic Fight Club. This pink bar of caffeinated soap is a product from Omni Consumer Products, “a product development company…with a focus on licensing, defictionalization, and reverse-branding”. They are also known for their Stay Puft Quality Marshmallows and Tru Blood O Positive. Fight Club Soap is available to purchase at their website.

Plenty of soaps are made with natural ingredients. Usually what that means is that they’re made of ground-up flowers and tropical fruits.

If you’re going to shower, be a man about it. Introducing the only soap made with electrolytes, caffeine, and punching. Don’t waste your time with anything less.
