This is an excellent example of the future of publishing on a mobile devices like iPad. A few years back, I used to be a big magazine consumer with several yearly subscriptions. As the Internet became my main source for information I slowly moved away from reading magazines. However with the new technology where all papers and magazines can be delivered to me via a digital reading device like an iPad, I can see this myself becoming once again a magazine and paper consumer to some extend, especially when the content is totally interactive like in the example below. The future is here, we just need to get all publications to move to digital distribution model now and do it well – like Wired did with iPad issue.
