I was away for couple of weeks… so here is what happened in a nutshell: Boarded a plane for Europe and boarded another plane back from Europe. Now I am back in Canada, good times!

Yesterday I walked by this vintage 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air 2-Door Hardtop and I had to stop and take a few photos with my iPhone… What a beauty!
The 1957 Chevrolet is an automobile which was introduced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors in September, 1956. It was available in three series models: the upscale Bel Air, the mid-range “two-ten”, and the “one-fifty”. A two-door station wagon, the Nomad was produced as a Bel Air model. An upscale trim option called the “Delray” was available for two-ten 2-door sedans. It is a popular and sought after classic car. These vehicles are often restored to their original condition and sometimes modified. The car’s image has been frequently used in toys, graphics, music, movies and television. The ’57 Chevy, as it is often known, is an auto icon.

Beautiful day at Sunnybrook Stables!
Posted in: Moblogging
It was a beautiful day to be out and about at the Sunnybrook Stables in a Sunnybook Park for a nice dog walk…
Sunnybrook Stables provides horseback riding lessons in the heart of Toronto. They are located in Sunnybrook Park, off Leslie Street, just North of Eglinton Avenue in mid-town Toronto. There are two outdoor sand rings, as well as a 20 by 40 meter indoor arena – assuring comfortable year round conditions for your riding lessons. Sunnybrook Stables is first and foremost a teaching facility. They offer instruction in English riding in both Hunter and Dressage on an excellent selection of school horses, ranging from novice to advanced levels. They have started literally thousands of riders, both children and adults.

Bike ride statistics

Summer is coming to a close, temperature is slowly dropping and the Sun is setting earlier and earlier each day. Soon it will be a time to put away my bike for the season, but this weekend has been nice enough to make one last biking trip to and around the Tommy Thompson Park (still one of my favourite cycling paths in the city). Yesterday afternoon friend of mine and I went for a few hours the park for the last time this year. Since all the birds is the bird sanctuary left the area we were allowed to enter the area (as per signage which normally prohibits entering the breeding and nesting area from April 1 to August 15th) and roamed around the empty place. We saw quite a few dead birds laid around of the area, empty nests perched up on the trees and ammonia filled air. We spotted a beaver and awesome dragon fly as well. As the evening come fast, the air cooled off quickly so we head back home. It was great ride… perfect way to close off the season!
Here are few shots from my iPhone and cycling stats:

Later we did a swing by the Sugar Beach / Corus Quay where for the first time we had Sail-in Cinema set up showing movies for free during this weekend. We didn’t stick around for too long as the rain started to fall.

Spent the whole day at Sugar Beach
Posted in: Moblogging

Beautiful day today! I have spent all the at the Sugar Beach today enjoying some sun and reading “Mockingjay” by Suzanne Collins. As matter of fact I managed to read half of the book, at this rate I should finish it tomorrow so I can move on to my Kindle Edition of George R. R. Martin’s A Game of Thrones 4-Book Bundle: A Song of Ice and Fire Series: A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, and A Feast for Crows which I am so looking forward to read next!
