The Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. Completed in 1883, it connects the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn by spanning the East River. With a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m), it was the longest suspension bridge in the world from its opening until 1903, and the first steel-wire suspension bridge. I love this street scene image of typical NYC yellow cab making a turn into Fifth Avenue at 59th Street. I used a technique called selective colour where everything but cab itself is in black and white.

This is fairly recent image, taken during my visit to New York City during summer months of 2010. Chrysler Building is by far one of my favourite art deco structures in NYC. The photograph features both Chrysler Building and neighbouring MetLife Buildings (a former PAN AM Building) from a very unique perspective.
